Terms and conditions for driving lessons.
Driving licence and eyesight: you must hold a current valid licence (either provisional or full) which must be produced on the first lesson. You must also be able to read a number plate from a distance 20.5 metres (67 feet) using your glasses if normally worn.
If you or your Instructor wish to cancel a lesson a minimum of
48 hours prior notice should be given. Cancellations must be made directly
between you and your Instructor, If you text you must have received a reply.
If you do not give at least 48 hours notice of cancellation, your Instructor
will be entitled to charge for the lesson's concerned, like-wise you will be
entitled to a free lesson or lesson's.
You must notify your Instructor of any matters which affect your ability or
entitlement to have driving tuition, for example, but not limited to, any lack,
or loss, of a valid provisional driving licence or medical condition.
The training vehicle will be made available to pupils for
their driving test subject to receipt of a fee equivalent to a two or three hour
driving lesson (dependent on distance travelled to test location).
We reserve the right to withhold this facility if, in our opinion, the pupil
does not meet the required test standard.
The pupil is the only client in the car during the lesson (no car sharing with
other pupils). Pick up and drop off will be at the agreed location.
Lesson price changes will not affect any individual once said
individual has started driving tuition.
We cannot be held responsible for illness or DSA test cancellations
As a member of the Driving Instructors Association our driving school is fully insured and we have Professional Indemnity to £5,000,000 and Public Liability to £10,000,000.
